Title

Resolution approving a lease agreement with Shea/Kenny.

Analysis

This resolution would approve a lease agreement with Shea/Kenny for Lease of 2,400 sq. ft. of office space located upon 0.50 acres of property located at 1200 S. Harbor Drive

Body

Whereas, Shea/Kenny and the Port of Milwaukee have agreed to a 40 month lease for a portion of property on the Port’s South Harbor Tract commencing April 15, 2006 and terminating July 15, 2009; and

Whereas, The Board of Harbor Commissioners at their meeting of August 4, 2006 acted by vote of the Board to grant such lease; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that said Common Council hereby ratifies and approves the Lease Agreement with Shea/Kenny and the City of Milwaukee, by and through its Board of Harbor Commissioners for lease of land located on the Port’s South Harbor Tract; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the designated officers of said government and said Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement to carry out this purpose.
