Title

Analysis

This resolution will permit the Redevelopment Authority to convey said land according to the conditions in the Land Disposition Report.

Body

Whereas, Joyce Lee and Tonnie Lee have offered to purchase a portion of the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee (“Redevelopment Authority”) property at 2216 West Vine Street for combination with their adjoining property; and

Whereas, On September 21, 2006, the Redevelopment Authority held a Public Hearing on the proposed sale as required by Wisconsin Statutes; and

Whereas, Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes and as a condition precedent to the sale, lease or transfer of land, the Redevelopment Authority submits herewith a Land Disposition Report describing the terms and conditions of the proposed sale; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Land Disposition Report dated September 21, 2006, with respect to the proposed sale of the following property, is approved.

REDEVELOPER

; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Redevelopment Authority shall market the remaining portion of 2216 West Vine Street for construction of an owner-occupied, single-family home as part of the CityHomes program and is authorized to accept an Offer to Purchase and close the transaction without additional approval of the Common Council.
