Body
Whereas, General American Milwaukee Corporation requested permission to construct and maintain underground pipes crossing South Lincoln Memorial Drive; and

Whereas, Permission for said pipes was granted in 1964 under Common Council File Number 64-1928; and

Whereas, Common Council Resolution File Number 64-1928-a changed the name of the grantee to General American Milwaukee Terminal, Inc.; and

Whereas, For the liability to be formally transferred to the current property owner, the Common Council needs to adopt an amending resolution; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that Common Council File Numbers 64-1928 and 64-1928-a are hereby rescinded; and, be it

Further Resolved, That Jacobus Energy, Inc., P.O. Box 13009, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53213-0009, is hereby granted the following special privilege:

To keep and maintain five, 10-inch diameter steel pipes, equally spaced and not exceeding 8 feet in overall width. Said pipes cross perpendicularly under the 150-foot wide right-of-way of South Lincoln Memorial Drive, originating from the building at 1700 South Lincoln Drive. The pipes are a minimum of 2 feet below grade.

Said above-mentioned pipes shall be used, kept and maintained to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services.
