Resolution authorizing and directing the proper City officers to execute Water Easement Agreement WA915, located in Vacated S. Ferry St. from E. Seeboth St. to E. Pittsburgh Ave.

Analysis

This resolution authorizes and directs the proper City officers to execute an Easement Agreement.

Body

Whereas, On November 22, 2005, the City of Milwaukee was granted a water easement, WE915, located in Vacated S. Ferry St. from E. Seeboth St. to E. Pittsburgh Ave.; and

 

Whereas, The easement is located in land presently owned by The 1818 LLC (the owner); and

 

Whereas, The owner has requested the City’s permission to construct concrete footings, concrete foundation walls, a concrete stoop, a steel sheet piling wall, and a second floor balcony, in and over the easement area; and

 

Whereas, The City will allow the construction of said footings, foundation walls, concrete stoop, sheet piling wall, and second floor balcony in the easement area subject to the conditions stipulated in Easement Agreement WA915; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute Easement Agreement WA915, a copy of said agreement being attached to and part of this resolution; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That after said Easement Agreement has been executed by the proper City officers, it shall be forwarded to the Department of Public Works for recording and proper distribution.
