Analysis
This resolution authorizes and directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute revised project agreements with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT) for the rehabilitation of two local bridges with Federal and/or State aid funding under the Local Bridge Replacement Program. The revised agreements include revised construction costs for the projects with 80% Federal and/or State Funds. The total increase in construction cost for the projects is $8,005,000, of which the City’s share is $1,601,000 and grantor share is $6,404,000. Construction funds (minus the $5,000) will be included in a future Common Council resolution. The total estimated cost for these two projects is $19,552,000 of which the City's share is $3,910,400 and the grantor share is $15,641,600.
