Substitute resolution granting a special privilege to Batemor Productions Inc to construct and maintain a new building façade encroachment for the premises at 1610 North Water Street.
Body
Whereas, Batemor Productions Inc, the applicant, is constructing the new façade for its new tenant, Shorewest Realtors; and

Whereas, The new façade will match the Shorewest Realtors logo; and

Whereas, Said building façade may only legally encroach into the public right-of-way by granting of a special privilege resolution adopted by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that Batemor Production, Inc., P.O. Box 2159, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53201 is hereby granted the following special privilege:

To construct and maintain a building façade projecting 9 inches into the east sidewalk area of North Water Street, in excess of the 1 ¾ inch allowed under Section 245-4-19 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances. Said façade encroachment consists of two, 3-foot wide faux pilasters centered approximately 50 and 76 feet north of the northline of East Pleasant Street. Additionally another portion of the new façade crosses the two pilasters above windows in the west face of the building commencing at a point approximately 48 feet 6 inches north of the northline of East Pleasant Street and extending 34 feet to the north. Length of the upper portion of the façade for fee calculations is 28 feet.

Said above-mentioned items shall be used, kept and maintained to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services.
