Analysis

This resolution authorizes the transfer of funds for the estimated cost of additional streetscape improvements on West Wisconsin Avenue from North 4^th Street and North 10^th Street.  The total amount of this resolution is $490,000 - City of Milwaukee additional share is $98,000 and the grantor additional share is $392,000, estimated total costs of $25,442,273, with the City share of $5,088,454.61 and the grantor share of $20,353,818.39.

Body

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee authorized construction of streetscape improvements on West Wisconsin Avenue from North 4^th Street to North 10^th Street under Common Council File Number 051582; and

Whereas, Additional streetscape improvements have been added to the project during the completion of streetscape design which will result in additional costs to the project; and

Whereas;  Construction of streetscape improvements has been authorized for construction on a single Wisconsin Department of Transportation Project I.D. Number rather than two separate Project I.D. Numbers as previously authorized; and

Whereas, Additional funds in the amount of $490,000 are necessary for the estimated Wisconsin Department of Transportation and City of Milwaukee construction costs for the project; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Comptroller is hereby authorized to transfer additional funds, and to adjust and amend previously authorized fund allocations as follows:
