Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2006 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

Analysis
This substitute ordinance makes positions changes to the following departments:
Health Department, Police Department.

Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 050457 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2006 - January 1, 2006):

Under “Health Department, Family and Community Health Services, Health Behaviors and HealthCare Access Division, Adolescent Community Health Grant (J)”, delete one position of “Public Health Educator II - ACHP (J)(X)” and add one position of “Health Project Coordinator-ACHP (J)(X).”

Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 050457 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under “Health Department”, amend footnote “(KKK)” to read as follows: “To expire 12/31/06 unless funding is extended. One position partially funded by the West Nile Virus Grant”; amend footnote “(CCC)” to read as follows: “To expire 09/30/06 unless funding is extended. One position partially funded by the Beach Monitoring Grant”; delete footnote “(UU)” in its entirety.

Under “Police Department, Administration Services Decision Unit, Assigned As Needed Within Decision Unit”, delete thirteen positions of “Police Services Specialist (0.5 FTE)(C)” and add thirteen positions of “Police Services Specialist-Investigator (0.5 FTE)(C)”; amend footnote “(S)” to read as follows: “State Beat Patrol Grant: To expire 12/31/2006 unless the Beat Patrol Grant, available from the State of Wisconsin, Office of Justice Assistance is extended.”

Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
