Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2006 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance makes positions changes to the following departments:
Department of Administration-Information and Technology Management Division, Health Department and Police Department.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 050457 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 9, 2006 - April 23, 2006):
Under “Department of Administration - Information and Technology Division, Citywide Information Systems”, delete one position of “GIS Developer (A)” and add one position of “GIS Analyst (A).”
Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 050457 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2006 - January 1, 2006):
Under “Health Department, Family and Community Health Services, Health Behaviors and HealthCare Access Division, Adolescent Community Health Grant (J)”, delete one position of “Public Health Nurse (0.8 FTE)(X)(G)(J)”and add one position of “Public Health Educator II - ACHP (J)(X)” and add footnote designation “(X)” to three positions of “Public Health Nurse (0.8 FTE) (G)(J)(MMM)”; under “Disease Control and Prevention Division”, delete one position of “Environmental and Disease Control Specialist (X)(PP)(GG)”; under “Childhood Immunization Disparities Grant (YY)”, add one position of “Public Health Educator II - CID (X)(P)(YY).”
Part 3. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 050457 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Health Department, Family and Community Health Services, Health Behaviors and HealthCare Access Division”, delete the title “Meta House Family Works Project Grant (N)” and one position of “Health Project Coordinator - Meta House (N)(X).”
Under “Police Department, Administrative Services Decision Unit, Communications Division”, delete one position of “Police Alarm Operator (G)” and add one position of “Police Dispatcher (G).”
Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 5. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2006 (January 1, 2006).
The provisions of Part 1 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 9, 2006 (April 23, 2006).
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 6. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
