This resolution amends a special privilege for change of ownership to Milwaukee Funeral Services, LLC for a covered walk and bollards previously granted permission for the premises at 5820 West Burleigh Street.
Body
Whereas, Jewish Community Funeral Home Services, Inc. petitioned for a special privilege to keep and maintain a covered walk and bollards in the public right-of-way; and

Whereas, Permission for said items was granted in 2001 under Common Council File Number 001042; and

Whereas, Milwaukee Funeral Services, LLC now owns the property; and

Whereas, For the liability to be formally transferred to the current property owner, the Common Council needs to adopt an amending resolution; now, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council File Number 001042 is hereby rescinded; and, be it

Further Resolved, That Milwaukee Funeral Services, LLC, 4750 North Santa Monica Boulevard, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53217 is hereby granted the following special privileges:

1. To keep and maintain a covered walk at the property known at 5820 West Burleigh Street. Said covered walk, 11 feet 8 inches in width, is centered approximately 280 feet west of the westline of North 58th Street and encroaches approximately 10 feet 9 inches into the 13-foot wide fully paved concrete north sidewalk area of West Burleigh Street. The covered walk is supported by the building and two vertical supports near each corner closest to the curb along each side of the covered walk.
