Analysis

This resolution appropriates $50,000 from the Development Fund for the purpose of supporting the holding of the 2006 national convention of the League of United Latin American Citizens in Milwaukee.

Body

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer the amount of $50,000 from the Development Fund Account No. UR03390000 to the League of United Latin American Citizens Project Account No. UR03397800 for the purpose of supporting the League of United Latin American Citizens 2006 national convention in Milwaukee; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the appropriate City officials are authorized to negotiate and enter into an agreement with the League of United Latin American Citizens for the purpose of accepting City funds for use in the league’s 2006 national convention.
