Title

Substitute resolution creating a study plan for the Bay View/Wentworth Avenue Interim Study Overlay Zone, as established by Section 295-1005.0001 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances, generally located along South Shore Drive between East Russell Avenue and East Estes Street, in the 14th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This substitute resolution creates a study plan that identifies regulatory problems and states land use and development issues to be resolved for the area proposed for rezoning.

Body

Whereas, Section 295-1005 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances allows for the establishment of a study plan for an Interim Study Overlay District; and

 

Whereas, An Overlay District is an appropriate mechanism to ensure proper development of future construction for Bay View along South Wentworth Avenue; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that a study plan is established for this area and will apply to any future construction, a copy of which study plan is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A.
