Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
1st Aldermanic District
N. 28th St. at W. Lincoln Creek Parkway (ST211040123) File Number 040314: Closure. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $10,000, additional funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $37,000. This project has been completed.
2nd Aldermanic District
W. Sheridan Ave. - N. 76th St. to a point 180 feet m/l west of N. 76th St. (ST211040112) File Number 040312: Paving the roadway with asphalt. Laying a concrete curb and gutter. Laying concrete sidewalk. Doing all the necessary grading pertaining to said work. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $10,000, additional funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $36,820. This project has been completed.
3rd and 6th Aldermanic Districts
E. Keefe Ave. - N. Weil St. to N. Fratney St. (ST211040133) File Number 040312: Curb and gutter, streetscape. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $10,000, additional funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $60,940. This project has been completed.
4th Aldermanic District
N. Market St - E. State St. to E. Highland Ave. (ST211060171) File Number 051443: Walk, curb and gutter, and driveways. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $20,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $23,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2006 construction season.
N. 13th St. (Vacated) at W. Clybourn St. (WT410041087) File Number 031650: Relay water main. (Nonassessable Water Fund -- $20,000, additional funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $45,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2006 construction season.

S. 32nd St. - W. Orchard St. to W. Lapham St. (SM495050089) File Number 051082: Relay combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $176,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $191,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2006 construction season.

S. 14th St. - W. Lincoln Ave. to W. Windlake Ave. (ST211060172) File Number 051443: Asphalt, walk, curb and gutter. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $50,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $53,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2006 construction season.
S. 17th St. - W. Rogers St. to W. Becher St. (SM495050031) File Number 050136: Relay combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $200,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $213,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2006 construction season.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
