Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions, determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

6th Aldermanic District

Alley between W. Burleigh St., W. Chambers St., N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., and N. 2nd St. (Southerly Unimproved 75 feet m/l) (ST212030129) File Number 020286: Concrete alley pavement reconstruction, replace some abutting walk or driveway approaches, grading, and storm drainage facilities where necessary. (Assessable Alley Paving Fund -- $3,000; Nonassessable Alley Paving Fund -- $10,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $23,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2006 construction season.
