This substitute motion approves the recommendation of the Licenses Committee for  renewal, with a warning letter, of the licensed dwelling facility (rooming house) for the premises at 500 W. Maple St. in the 12th Aldermanic District of the City of Milwaukee.

Body

Whereas, The Licenses Committee held a hearing on May 18, 2006 relative to renewal of the licensed dwelling facility (rooming house) for the premises at 500 W. Maple St.; and

Whereas, After hearing testimony presented at the committee hearing, the committee found that the evidence did not support non-renewal of the license, but it did support the issuance of a warning letter based upon items heard at the hearing; and

Whereas, The Licenses Committee approved the renewal of the license, with a warning letter, on May 18, 2006 by a vote of three (3) ayes and zero (0) noes; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee hereby accepts the recommendation of the Licenses Committee for the renewal, with a warning letter, of the licensed dwelling facility (rooming house) for the premises at 500 W. Maple St. in the 12th Aldermanic District of the City of Milwaukee.
