Title

Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Industrial Light to a General Planned Development known as Milwaukee Job Corps, on land located on the West Side of North 60th Street and South of West Briggs Avenue, in the 9th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This substitute ordinance permits the development of the United States Department of Labor Job Corps, a federally funded job training facility and dormitory.

Body

Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:

 

Section 295-907(2)(a).0026. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for Block 1, Lot 1, of Bacher Farm (25.00 acres) from Industrial Light (IL1) to a General Planned Development (GPD) known as Milwaukee Job Corps.
