Analysis

This resolution authorizes the issuance and execution of a contract for professional services to Kelly Daley Video to perform script writing, pre-production, production, and post-production management services for a digital production; and

Body

Whereas, Milwaukee Water Works is in need of a tool for public education, employee and elected official orientation, news media relations, and water marketing activities; and

Whereas, A cost-efficient solution would be a digital production depicting the Milwaukee Water Works’ history and its operations including service area, source protection, water treatment, water quality, distribution, water engineering, accounting, meter reading and meter shop services, customer service; and administration; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to issue a Sole Source Professional Service Contract to develop a broadcast quality digital production of the Milwaukee Water Works; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the cost of the production be charged to the appropriate Water Works account.
