Analysis
This resolution grants a special privilege to Cobblers Lofts Condominium Association to construct, keep and maintain a private catch basin for the premises at 234 East Reservoir Avenue.
Body
Whereas, The applicant needed to construct a catch basin to pick up water flow from the building’s drainage tile system; and

Whereas, Due to the location of the existing building footing along East Reservoir Avenue, the catch basin could not be constructed closer to the building on private property; and

Whereas, Said private catch basin may only legally encroach into the public right-of-way by the granting of a special privilege resolution by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Cobblers Lofts Condominium Association, 234 East Reservoir Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53212, is hereby granted the following special privilege:

To construct, keep and maintain a private 3-foot diameter catch basin in the north, 15-foot wide sidewalk area of East Reservoir Avenue. Said catch basin is centered approximately 4 feet 4 inches south of the northline of East Reservoir and 1 foot 6 inches west of the westline of North Hubbard Street. Said catch basin is to be built to a minimum depth of 6 feet below the sidewalk grade.

Said catch basin shall be used, kept and maintained to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services.

Said catch basin shall be maintained or removed from the public right-of-way, at such future time as it is no longer needed, to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Departmen...
