Analysis

This ordinance prohibits cruising on the portion of West Capitol Drive from North 92^nd Street west to the City limits.  Cruising is already prohibited on Capitol Drive from North 92^nd Street east to the Milwaukee River (City limits).

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-20.5-1-b-5 of the code is amended to read:

101-20.5.  Cruising Prohibited.

1.  DEFINITIONS.

b.  “Designated area” means:

b-5.  All of that portion of East and West Capitol Drive [[bounded by the Milwaukee River on the east and North 92^nd Street on the west]] >>within the Milwaukee city limits<<.
