The resolution also directs the Department of City Development to present the proposals to the Common Council within 3 months of adoption.

Whereas, Development of the city-owned parking lot at 2254 South Allis Street could contribute to the revitalization of the Bay View neighborhood while maintaining public parking; and
Whereas, Common Council File Number 050861, adopted on November 11, 2005, directed the Department of City Development to market the city-owned parking lot at 2254 South Allis Street for sale and development under specified conditions; and
Whereas, The Department of City Development recommended that its real estate staff work with area business associations and residents to design a request for proposals that will offer the property for sale with the requirements set forth in Common Council File Number 050861; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council File Number 050861 is amended by deleting the first “Further Resolved” clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following 2 “Further Resolved” clauses:
