In order to be consistent with state law, this ordinance amends an existing exception to establish that an underage person may enter or remain in a dance hall or banquet or hospitality room attached to a licensed premises for the purpose of attending a banquet, reception, dance, or other similar event. In addition, this ordinance establishes an additional exception which provides that an underage person may enter or remain in a banquet or hospitality room on brewery premises for the purpose of attending a brewery tour.
