Substitute resolution authorizing the Community Development Grants Administration (CDGA) to release a Request-for-proposal (RFP) for the Youth Council reprogramming cycle.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes CDGA to release a RFP utilizing 10% of the 2006 CDBG reprogramming funds.
Body
Whereas, The Community Development Grants Administration is authorized to release a request-for-proposal utilizing the 10% set-aside of 2006 CDBG Reprogramming funds for the City’s Youth Council as approved in resolution number 040220; and
Whereas, The City’s Youth Council will review the RFP’s and submit recommendations based on the timeline as outlined in the attached schedule (see Attachment A); and
Whereas, The Community and Economic Development Committee recommends approval of the RFP cycle and Schedule for the City’s Youth Council 2006 CDBG Reprogramming cycle; now therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, hereby approves the schedule and RFP cycle for the Youth Council; and, be it
Further Resolved, That no representative of an applicant for reprogramming funds may contact, by any means, members of the Youth Council to advocate for such funding, except at a meeting of the Youth Council convened for that purpose, and that any such contact shall result in the disqualification of the applicant for reprogramming funds.
