Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements in

various parts of the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 101-9-1 of the Code relating to Designation of Prohibited Pedestrian Crossings is amended by adding the following:

The west crosswalk at the intersection of North James Lovell Street and West State Street

Part 2. Section 101-10-2 of the Code relating to No Right Turns on Red Signal is amended by adding the following:

On West State Street at North James Lovell Street eastbound

Part 3. Section 101-11-1 of the Code relating to No Left Turn is amended by striking the following:

“On West Layton Avenue at the first median opening eastbound on West Layton Avenue east of South 6^th Street”

Part 4.  Section 101-12-2 of the Code relating to No U-Turns is amended by adding the following:

On West Capitol Drive at the median opening west of North 27^th Street from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM eastbound and westbound

On West Capitol Drive at North 28^th Street from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM eastbound and westbound

On West Capitol Drive at North 29^th Street from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM eastbound and westbound

On West Capitol Drive at North 30^th Street from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM eastbound and westbound

On West Capitol Drive at the median opening east of North 31^st Street from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM eastbound and westbound

On West Ring Street and North 9^th Street in all directions

On West Grant Street and South 34^th Street in all directions

On West Becher Street and South 34^th Street in all directions
