Whereas, On February 22, 2005, the Common Council adopted File Number 041000, a resolution creating the City of Milwaukee Task Force on the Impacts of Convenient Cash Institutions, more commonly known as the “Convenient Lending Task Force”; and
Whereas, This resolution directed the Task Force to submit a report of its findings and recommendations to the Common Council no later than February 22, 2006; and
Whereas, The Task Force is still preparing the report of its findings and recommendations; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council File Number 041000 is amended so that the fifth “Further Resolved” clause reads as follows:
“Further Resolved, That the Task Force shall submit a written report of its findings and recommendations to the Common Council no later than May 22, 2006, and shall thereafter be dissolved; and, be it”
