Title
Substitute ordinance to establish a Master Sign Program Overlay Zone (MSP) for property located at 11400 West Silver Spring Road, in the 5th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance establishes a Master Sign Program Overlay Zone and approves Exhibit A relating to sign design standards.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee (“Common Council”), do ordain as follows:
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances (“Code”) a new section to read as follows:
Section 295-1017.0003. The zoning map is amended to establish a Master Sign Program Overlay Zone (MSP) for the area bounded and described by the zoning line within the right-of-way along West Silver Spring Road, the zoning line within the right-of-way along North Lovers Lane Road and the North and South lines of Parcel 1 of Certified Survey Map No. 6134.
Part 2. In accordance with the provisions of Section 295-1017(2)(a) of the Code relating to the establishment of Master Sign Program Overlay Zones, the Common Council approves the sign program, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part thereof as though fully set forth herein.
