Resolution amending Common Council Resolution File Number 020897, a resolution requesting the City Comptroller to provide semi-annual reports of the audit activities of the Comptroller’s Office to the Common Council.

Analysis

This resolution amends Common Council Resolution File Number 020897, such that the Comptroller’s Office is requested to provide the success or failure of previously audited departments in implementing the recommendations of their audits annually. Currently, the Comptroller’s Office is requested to provide this report semi-annually.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that Common Council Resolution File Number 020897, adopted on October 15, 2002 is amended so that the “Resolved” clause reads as follows: 

“Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Comptroller is requested to provide semi-annual reports of the activities of the City Comptroller’s office including, but not limited to, on-going audits, pending audits, possible subjects for future audits and annually provide the success or failure of previously-audited departments in implementing the recommendations of their audits; and, be it”
