Title
Resolution relative to the 2006 Capital Improvement Program to provide funds for underground conduit work at various locations.
Analysis
This resolution provides funds for Underground Conduit installations and alterations at various locations in response to communication needs and paving projects, and it authorizes additional 2006 fund transfers for the general purposes indicated.
Body
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to modify and/or install underground conduit at various locations; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Comptroller's office is authorized and directed to transfer $347,827 from the Underground Conduit budget, Account Number ST280060000 to the general purpose sub-accounts indicated below as funds are needed in those accounts:
General Engineering

Major Conduit Installations
Account Number: ST280060200
Conduit Alterations and Adjustments
Account Number: ST280060300
Digitizing Underground Conduit Records
Account Number: ST280060400
Total 2006 Funds Authorized: $347,827
; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer additional funds as required without further Common Council authorization, the total amount of such additional transfer shall not exceed the amount authorized in the 2006 Underground Conduit Budget.
