Analysis
This resolution authorizes and directs the proper City officials to execute the renewal agreement with the City of West Allis for the purchase of water at wholesale.
Body
Whereas, The City of West Allis has been a valued wholesale customer of the Milwaukee Water Works since 1904; and

Whereas, The contract signed in 1996 has expired; and

Whereas, Agreement has been reached with The City of West Allis on the contract for the purchase of water at wholesale and West Allis officials have approved the renewal agreement; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute the Agreement between the City of Milwaukee and the City of West Allis for the purchase of water at wholesale, attached to this File; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Water Works file with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, a fully executed copy of the Agreement.
