Analysis
This ordinance updates position classifications and definitions relating to leave of absence policies, uniform and clothing allowances and payments for educational programs for nonrepresented, noncivilian fire department management employes, and removes obsolete provisions from respective sections. It amends the uniform and clothing allowance to include an additional provision for members of the honor guard, and the educational benefits section to include an additional provision for employes who are registered nurses. It also updates the definition of “immediate family,” as it relates to funeral leave.
