Title
Resolution directing the City Comptroller to put additional funds in the preliminary engineering accounts for the Kinnickinnic River Bicycle Trail.
Analysis
Common Council Resolution Number 000019, adopted May 19, 2000 directed the City Comptroller to establish accounts for preliminary engineering for the Kinnickinnic River Bicycle Trail project. This resolution authorizes expenditures to cover the shortfall for preliminary engineering. The additional funds will be funded by the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) grant, with the local share being funded by Department of Public Works funds.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted Resolution Numbers 000019, 040623, and 041290 which established funding for preliminary engineering for the Kinnickinnic River Bicycle Trail project totaling $189,000; and
Whereas, Additional funds are needed to finalize the plans for this project; and
Whereas, The Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) grant allows us to transfer construction funds to preliminary engineering accounts; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Comptroller is directed to transfer into the previously established preliminary engineering accounts for the Kinnickinnic River Bicycle Trail project the following amounts:
