Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2006 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

Analysis
This substitute ordinance makes rates of pay changes to the rates of pay to the following:
Department of Employee Relations, Department of Public Works-Administrative Services Division and Department of Public Works-Operations Division.

Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows

Under Salary Grade 005, add the title “Parking Operations Supervisor.”

Part 2. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 5, 2006 - February 26, 2006):

Under Salary Grade 014, add footnote designation “1/” following the title “Labor Negotiator” and add the following footnote: “1/ Recruitment may be at any step in the salary grade, subject to approval by the Department of Employee Relations and the Chair of the Committee on Finance and Personnel.”

Part 3. Section 10 of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under Pay Range 630, add the title “Architect IV.”

Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 5. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 5, 2006 (February 26, 2006).

The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
