Analysis
This resolution will result in the sale of two tax-deed vacant lots.
Body
Whereas, Thomas J. Ramstack owns the property at 3711 North 1st Street and has submitted an Offer to Purchase the vacant lot at 3715 North 1st Street and part of the vacant lot at 110-114 West Nash Street for the amount of $2,000; and

Whereas, Patrick A. Wilber owns the property at 3703 North 1st Street and has submitted an Offer to Purchase the remainder of the vacant lot at 110-114 West Nash Street for the amount of $1,000; and

Whereas, Said tax-deed vacant lots will be combined with the existing properties to create two properties with two separate tax key numbers; and

Whereas, The Department of City Development (“DCD”) recommends acceptance of said Offers; and

Whereas, Said lots are to be sold in an “as is” condition without representations or warranties including but not limited to soil quality and subsurface condition; and

Whereas, The City Plan Commission has determined that there is no municipal need for said lots; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the vacant tax-deed lots at 3715 North 1st Street and 110-14 West Nash Street are declared surplus, that sales to Thomas J. Ramstack and Patrick A. Wilber are approved and that the Commissioner of DCD, or designee, is authorized and directed to perform such acts as necessary to carry out the intent of this resolution; and, be it
