Title
Substitute resolution approving construction of nonassessable public improvement projects at various locations.
Analysis
This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
9th Aldermanic District
W. Brown Deer Rd. at N. Lauer St. (TD03684010) File Number 980432: Median revision. (Nonassessable T.I.D. Funds -- $150,000)
10th Aldermanic District
W. Locust St. - N. 56th St. to N. 57th St. (SM495050043) File Number 050136: Relay sanitary and storm sewers. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $80,000)
14th Aldermanic District
S. St. Clair St. - A point 180 feet m/l south of E. Russell Ave. to E. Russell Ave. (ST212050143) File Number 040111: Concrete inverted crown pavement reconstruction, driveway approaches where needed, sodding, and grading. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $40,000)

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Engineer is authorized to sign the Relocation Order, Permanent Limited Easement, and other documents required by the right-of-way process for the West Mill Road Bridge over the Menomonee River project, whereby Milwaukee County is donating for mutual benefits, the land the city needs for easements to maintain the integrity of roadway slopes; and, be it
