Title

Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2005 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

Analysis

This substitute ordinance makes rates of pay changes to the rates of pay to the following:

Local 75, Journeymen Plumbers and Gas-Fitters Union, AFL-CIO.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 17 of ordinance File Number 040458 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 13, 2005 - June 5, 2005):

Eliminate the rates of pay shown for Pay Range 786 and substitute in lieu thereof the following biweekly rates of pay:

$2,307.20

Under footnote 1/ delete the 2^nd sentence and replace with the following sentence: (Effective Pay Period 13, 2005, (June 5, 2005) the hourly rate is $28.84 ($2,307.20 biweekly) 92% of the outside rate of $31.35 per hour.)

Under footnote 2/ delete the 2^nd sentence and replace with the following sentence: (Effective Pay Period 13, 2005 (June 5, 2005) the hourly rate is $29.78 ($2,382.40 biweekly) 95% of the outside rate of $31.35 per hour.)

Part 2.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 3.  The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 13, 2005 (June 5, 2005).

Part 4. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
