Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2005 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
 
Analysis
This substitute ordinance makes rates of pay changes to the rates of pay to the following:
Department of Public Works - Water Works.
 
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 040458 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
 
Under Salary Grade 005, add the title "Water Claims Specialist."
 
Part 2. Section 23 of ordinance File Number 040458 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective June 13, 2005):
 
Under Pay Range 910, add footnote designation "4/" following the title "Team Leader" and add footnote "4/" to read as follows: "Appointment may be up to the third step of the pay range based upon prior experience."
 
Part 3.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
 
Part 4. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after June 13, 2005.
 
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
 
Part 5.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
