Title
Resolution permitting a minor modification to the Detailed Planned Development (DPD) known as Home Depot, located on the South Side of West Good Hope Road and East of North 76th Street, in the 9th Aldermanic District. (DCD)
Analysis
This resolution will allow for changes to the drive aisle locations along West Good Hope Road and additional decorative fencing along the eastern property line.
Body
Whereas, Section 295-814(5) of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances permits modifications to planned developments after approval of the Common Council; and

Whereas, The change in zoning from Local Business (LB1) to a Detailed Planned Development (DPD) known as Home Depot, was approved by the Common Council on May 5, 1998, under File No. 040576 for construction of a home improvement and garden center at a former K-Mart retail store site and two future outlot development sites; and

Whereas, Representatives of Home Depot are requesting a minor modification to allow for changes to the drive aisle locations along West Good Hope Road as requested by Milwaukee County and additional decorative fencing along the eastern property line as requested by the Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club; and

Whereas, The revisions to the site plan and additional fencing are generally consistent with the spirit and intent of the approved detailed plan, will not adversely affect surrounding development and a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part as though fully set forth herein; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the minor modification to allow for revisions to the driveway openings and decorative fencing along the eastern property line that were not previously approved as part of the Detailed Planned Development are approved.
