Resolution rescinding various resolutions that reserved appropriations in the Common Council Contingent Fund. (Budget and Management Analysis)
Analysis
Several previously adopted resolutions reserved contingent funds that are no longer needed for their stated purpose. This will allow previous year contingent funds of $111,496 to revert to the Tax Stabilization Fund and $50,000 to be available for use in 2004.
Body
Whereas, Several resolutions that reserved contingent funds for various reasons are no longer need; and
Whereas, 2003 resolutions and prior can revert to the Tax Stabilization Fund; and
Whereas, 2004 resolutions can be made available for use in 2004; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council that resolutions 011713, 010238 and 001468 reserving appropriations in the contingent fund be rescinded and any remaining appropriation be transferred to the Tax Stabilization Fund; and, be it
Further Resolved, That resolution 031158 reserving appropriations in the 2004 contingent fund be rescinded and the funds made available for other purposes in 2004.
