Title
Ordinance approving the First Amendment to the Detailed Planned Development (DPD) known as Park Place, Stage 16, on land located North of West Good Hope Road and West of North 107th Street, in the 5th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This ordinance will allow for the construction of a Type B freestanding sign for an existing 125-room hotel.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee ("Common Council") do ordain as follows:
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances ("Code") a new section to read as follows:
Section 295-907(2)(b).0055.
(1) In accordance with the provisions of Section 295-907 of the Code relating to the establishment of planned development districts, the Common Council approves said amended Detailed Planned Development, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part as though fully set forth herein.
(2) The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for that part of Parcel 1 of Certified Survey Map No. 5557, in the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 and the Northeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 18, Town 08 North, Range 21 East, in the City of Milwaukee, County of Milwaukee, State of Wisconsin, bounded and described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest Corner of said Southeast 1/4 Section; thence South 00 deg. 28 min. 27 sec. West along the west line of said Southeast 1/4 Section 45.09 feet to the point of beginning; thence North 86 deg. 50 min. 45 sec. East along the south line of West Calumet Road and parallel with the north line of said Southeast 1/4 Section 400 feet to a point; thence South 34 deg. 10 min. 06 sec. East along the east line of said Parcel 1 aforesaid 110.38 feet to a point; thence South 86 deg. 51 min. 00 sec. West 176.63 feet to a point; thence South 03 deg. 09 min. 00 sec.
