Analysis
This ordinance allows the department of neighborhood services to accept façade critical examination reports that were completed prior to the effective date of the current façade critical examination ordinance (December 16, 2003). If a report is accepted, the next report will be due within 5, 8 or 12 years of the date the report was originally completed, depending on the category of building construction.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 275-32-13-g-4 of the code is created to read:
275-32. Exterior Structure.
13. FAÇADE CRITICAL EXAMINATION.
g. Examination Schedule.
g-4. If a critical examination report was completed 5, 8 or 12 years or less prior to the submission due date, depending on the building category, the report may be submitted to the department for review. If the report is accepted, the next report will be due within 5, 8 or 12 years of when that report was originally completed, depending on the building category.
