Whereas, Common Council File 031019 authorized the Health Department to apply for, accept and fund the West Nile Virus Grant from the State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services for the prevention and control of West Nile Virus . This grant provided for a Grantor share total of $35,905; plus $30,820 carried over from Common Council File 021170; and
Whereas, The Grantor share for this program is increased by $25,921; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that application to State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services is authorized and the Health Department shall accept such a grant without further Common Council approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Common Council File 030712 (Grant Ordinance); and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to
1. Commit funds within Project/Grant Parent of the 2004 Special Revenue-Grant and Aid Projects fund, the following amount for the project titled West Nile Virus Grant:
