Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various
parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 9th Street from West State Street to West Highland Avenue from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 6th Street from a point 165 feet north of the north curb line of West Wells Street to a point 35 feet further north thereof at any time"
"On the west side of North 4th Street from the south lot line of premises known as number 2017 to a point 40 feet south thereof from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM"
"On the east side of North 33rd Street from the north curb line of West North Avenue to a point 72 feet north thereof at any time"
"On the west side of North 39th Street from a point 60 feet north of West Center Street to a point 25 feet further north thereof at any time"
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
In the alley east of South 51st Street between West Plainfield Avenue and West Leroy Avenue
On the east side of North Teutonia Avenue from a point 370 feet south of West Florist Avenue to a point 575 feet north of West Florist Avenue
On the south side of East State Street from North Cass Street to a point 40 feet west
On the south side of East State Street from North Marshall Street to a point 40 feet west
On the south side of West State Street from North 14th Street to a point 65 feet west
In the alley bounded by West Washington Street, West Scott Street, South 4th Street and South 5th Street
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 8th Street from West Kilbourn Avenue to West State Street"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 3rd Street from West Capitol Drive to West Melvina Street"
"On the east side of North 5th Street from a point 295 feet north of West Hadley Street to West Locust Street from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on even calendar dates except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the west side of North 34th Street from West Locust to West Center Streets on odd calendar dates from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On West Mount Vernon Avenue from North 77th Street to North 79th Street on regular school days
On the east side of North 79th Street from West Mt. Vernon Avenue to a point 100 feet north on regular school days
Part 7. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:
On East Wilson Street from South Graham Street to South Kinnickinnic Avenue
On South Burrell Street from East Smith Street to East Clarence Street
On East Pryor Avenue from South Clement Avenue to South Kinnickinnic Avenue
On East Montana Street from South Quincy Avenue to South Adams Avenue
On East Texas Avenue from East Oklahoma Avenue to South Superior Street
On South Woodward Street from East Lincoln Avenue north to the dead end
