Analysis
This resolution will result in the sale of four vacant, tax-deed lots for assemblage and church construction.

Whereas, Greater St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church has submitted an unsolicited Offer to Purchase, in the amount of $43,200, for the following vacant, tax-deed lots:

2753 North 27th Street, #309-0403-100-X
2757-59 North 27th Street, #309-0402-000-8
2761-63 North 27th Street, #309-0401-000-2
; and
Whereas, Greater St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church will assemble the land to create one site for development; and
Whereas, The deed of conveyance for some of the lots may contain City-imposed deed restrictions preventing division of the lots and prohibiting construction without the prior approval of the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee; and
Whereas, In order for Greater St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church to assemble the lots and build upon them, the City-imposed deed restrictions must be released; and
Whereas, This resolution will authorize the Commissioner of the Department of City Development ("DCD") or designee to prepare the necessary documents for release of the restrictions; and
Whereas, Greater St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church has submitted an acceptable preliminary site and building plan and with a firm financial commitment in the amount of $1 million; and
Whereas, DCD recommends acceptance of said Offer with closing contingent upon final approval of site and building plans by its Development Center; and
