Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2004 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows: Department of Administration - Business Operations Division, Common Council/City Clerk's Office and Police Department.

Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 030414 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under Salary Grade 002, delete the title "Microfilm Supervisor" and add the title "Document Services Supervisor."

Under Salary Grade 007, delete the title "Printing and Records Manager" and add the title "Document Services Manager."

Under Salary Grade 009, add the title "Council Records Manager."

Under Salary Grade 011, delete the title "Council Administration Manager."

Part 2. Section 5 of ordinance File Number 030414 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective October 1, 2004):

Under Pay Range 478, add the footnote designation "1/" following the title "Police Dispatcher" and add the following footnote: "1/ Police Dispatcher positions to be administratively reclassified to Police Alarm Operator upon becoming vacant, to a maximum of 15 positions, according to the specifications of settlement case No. 98-CV-009353. Upon conclusion of the settlement, Police Alarm Operator positions to be administratively reclassified to Police Dispatcher upon becoming vacant."

Part 3. Section 18 of ordinance File Number 030414 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective October 1, 2004):

Under Pay Range 804, delete footnote "1/" in its entirety and create a new footnote "1/" as follows: "1/ Police Dispatcher positions to be administratively reclassified to Police Alarm Op...
