Analysis:
This resolution authorizes application, acceptance and expenditure of the Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant from the State of Wisconsin, Department of Justice, Office of Justice Assistance.
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from the State of Wisconsin, Department of Justice, Office of Justice Assistance for the Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant; and

Whereas, The operation of this grant from 07/01/2003 to 12/31/2004 would cost $593,635 of which $59,363 would be provided by the city and $534,272 would be provided by the grantor; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Community Block Grant Administration shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Common Council File 030712; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to:

1. Commit funds within the Project/Grant Parent of the 2003 Special Revenue- Grant and Aid Projects, the following amounts for the program titled: "Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant":
