Title
Substitute ordinance to change the zoning from Industrial Light (IL1) to Local Business (LB1) on land located on the Northeast Corner of South 6th Street and West Layton Avenue, in the 13th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the zoning to allow for the construction of a fast food restaurant and retail building for lease.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-601(2).0008. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded by the zoning line within the right-of-way along South 6th Street, the zoning line within the right-of-way of West Layton Avenue, a line 440 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Layton Avenue, a line 155.3 feet West and parallel to the north line of South 6th Street and a line 240 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Layton Avenue, from Industrial Light (IL1) to Local Business (LB1).
