Title
A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements in
various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-10-2 of the Code relating to No Turn on Red is amended by striking the following:
“On South Superior Street at East Russell Avenue from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM northbound”
Part 2. Section 101-13-5 of the Code relating to Speed Limit 35 MPH is amended by adding the following:
On West Leon Terrace from West Mill Road west to the Fond du Lac Freeway (STH 145) westbound on-ramp
Part 3. Section 101-13-8 of the Code relating to School Speed 20 MPH is amended by adding the following:
On West Howard Avenue from South 79th Street to South 81st Street
On West Vliet Street from North 18th Street to North 22nd Street
Part 4. Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by striking the following:
“On South 22nd Street at West Wilbur Avenue”
“On West Wright Street at North 56th Street”
Part 5. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by striking the following:
“On West Walker Street at South 3rd Street”
“On South 23rd Street at West Maple Street”
“On West Mineral Street at South 3rd Street”
Part 6. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:
On South 22nd Street at West Wilbur Avenue
On West Wright Street at North 56th Street
On West Walker Street and South 3rd Street in all directions
On West Maple Street and South 23rd Street in all directions
On West Mineral Street and South 3rd Street in all directions
On West Chambers Street at North 73rd Street
On West Medford Avenue at West Fairmount Street/North 72nd Street/West Wellington Place
