Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2004 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 030414 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 9, 2004 - April 20, 2004):

Under Salary Grade 007, add the title "Staff Assistant to the Mayor-Senior."

Part 2. Section 3 of ordinance File Number 030414 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 12, 2004 - May 23, 2004):

Under Pay Range 285, add the footnote designation "1/" after the title "Automotive Machinist" and add footnote "1/" to read as follows: "1/Effective Pay Period 12, 2004 (May 23, 2004), one position held by James Fields, in the Operations Division of the Department of Public Works, to be paid at rates consistent with Pay Range 934 while performing contract administrator duties."

Part 3. Section 5 of ordinance File Number 030414 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 12, 2004 - May 23, 2004):

Under Pay Range 435, delete the footnote designation "4/" after the title "Accounting Assistant I" and delete footnote "4/" in its entirety.

Part 4. Section 23 of ordinance File Number 030414 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 12, 2004 - May 23, 2004):

Under Pay Range 934, delete the current biweekly rate of pay and substitute in lieu thereof the following biweekly rate of pay:
