Title
Substitute resolution relating to the expiration date of the current ambulance service plan for the citywide emergency medical service system.
Analysis
Section 75-15-13-b-2 of the code requires that ambulance service plans be approved for 5-year periods. However, Resolution File Number 991349, adopted on December 17, 1999, which approved the current service plan that commenced on January 1, 2000, erroneously included a 6-year plan. This resolution corrects this error by specifying that the expiration date for the current service plan is December 31, 2004 rather than December 31, 2005.

Whereas, Section 75-15-13-b-2 of the Code of Ordinances specifies that ambulance service plans for the citywide emergency medical service system be approved by the Common Council for 5-year periods, commencing January 1 and ending December 31; and
Whereas, Common Council File Number 991349, adopted on December 17, 1999, contains an error relating to the expiration date of the current service plan which commenced on January 1, 2000; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Resolution File Number 991349 is amended as by deleting the year "2005" in the "Resolved" clause inserting in lieu thereof "2004".
