Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Health Department to enter into a memorandum of understanding between the Health Department and the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin.  The Milwaukee Health Department is requesting the help of the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin in implementing measures necessary to prevent, suppress or control communicable disease through fee exempt testing for clients in the City of Milwaukee.  
 
Body
Whereas, The Milwaukee Health Department (MHD) is requesting the help of the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin (ARCW) in implementing measures necessary to prevent, suppress or control communicable disease through fee exempt testing for clients in the City of Milwaukee; and
 
Whereas, The purpose of the relationship between MHD and ARCW is to improve the health and well-being of the citizens of Milwaukee; and
 
Whereas, The memorandum of understanding, which describes the arrangement between MHD and ARCW shall be reviewed annually; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Common Council authorizes the appropriate city officials to enter into the memorandum of understanding, a copy of which is attached to this file.
