Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various
parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by striking the following:
"On the north side of West Capitol Drive from West Fond du Lac Avenue to North 76th Street from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the south side of West Capitol Drive from North Sherman Boulevard to North 76th Street from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the north side of West Capitol Drive from North Sherman Boulevard to West Fond du Lac Avenue from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 2. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Capitol Drive from North Sherman Boulevard to North 47th Street from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday
On the south side of West Capitol Drive from North Sherman Boulevard to North 54th Street from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM except Saturday and Sunday
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the north side of West Villard Avenue from the east curb line of North 33rd Street to a point 50 feet east thereof at any time"
"On the north side of West Rohr Avenue from the east curb line of North 26th Street to a point 60 feet east thereof at any time"
"On the west side of South 5th Place from South Chase Avenue to West Grant Street at any time from the 16th day of November to the 15th day of April during declared snow emergencies from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM"
"On the east side of South 9th Street from the north line of West Mineral Street extended north to the north line of the first east/west alley extended at any time"
"On the east side of North 21st Street from the north curb line of West Brown Street to a point 75 feet north thereof at any time"
"On the west side of North 31st Street from a point 60 feet north of the north curb line of West North Avenue to the first east/west alley north thereof"
Part 4. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
In the alley south of West Michigan Street from North 39th Street east to the dead end
On South Howell Avenue from East Oklahoma Avenue to a point 110 feet south at any time
On the south side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North 89th Street to a point 70 feet west
On the south side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North 90th Street to a point 70 feet west
On the south side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North 91st Street to a point 70 feet east
On the south side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North 93rd Street to a point 70 feet west
On the south side of West State Street from North 29th Street to a point 95 feet east
On the south side of West McKinley Avenue from North Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive to North 6th Street at any time
On the south side of West Edgerton Avenue from South 13th Street to a point 60 feet west at any time
On the west side of North Commerce Street from East Pleasant Street to a point 80 feet north
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the north side of West Silver Spring Drive from North 35th Street to North 36th Street"
"On South 7th Street from West Maple Street to West Burnham Street from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On North 22nd Street between West North and West Garfield Avenues"
"On the west side of North 34th Street from West Michigan Street to West Clybourn Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the south side of West Kilbourn Avenue from North 4th Street to North 6th Street"
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of North 80th Street from West Burleigh Street south to the alley
On the south side of West Kilbourn Avenue from North 4th Street to North 6th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
Part 7. Section 101-23-4-g of the Code relating to Five Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West McKinley Avenue from North Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive to North 6th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
Part 8. Section 101-23-4-h of the Code relating to Ten Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Van Buren Street from East St. Paul Avenue to a point 100 feet south from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
Part 9. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:
On West Pierce Street from South 20th Street to South 21st Street
On South 17th Street from West Mineral Street to West Scott Street
On South 12th Street from West Scott Street to West Greenfield Avenue
On South 20th Street from West Pierce Street to West National Avenue
Part 10. Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Kilbourn Avenue from North 4th Street to North 6th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
Part 11. Section 101-32-3-f-4 of the Code relating to Five Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West McKinley Avenue from North Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive to North 6th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
Part 12. Section 101-32-3-g-1 of the Code relating to Ten Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
